Therapy Intensives are more intentionally focused therapy sessions that are extended in time, and sometimes over multiple days. For example, 3 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

As we all know, therapy is for ALL of you. Even with Therapy Intensives, structures can vary and be flexible to meet your needs. For example: an “extended session” could be around 90 minutes, where an intensive structure might look like 3 hours a day for 3 consecutive days. Perhaps you would choose 3 hours in the morning, a long break, and a 1 hour wrap up/revisit in the afternoo. The possibilities truly are endless.

  • “Do I have to do my intensive in your office?” Absolutely not! The space we choose is just as important as the work we are doing, so our space can be customized as well. We can meet online while you’re cuddled up with your dog. We can meet in my office, or an outdoor space that you feel comfortable with. We can even in the comfort of your own home.

  • We do therapy intensives with many different focuses, such as trauma, couples, parenting, grief, etc. Those healing from developmental, complex, and/or extended exposure to vicarious trauma can especially benefit from therapy intensives.
